Scholarship Information
Miller BLACK and GOLD Academic Award
This $1,200 scholarship is available to first-time freshmen with a composite score of 28 or above on the ACT. This award is renewable for 3 additional undergraduate years provided the student remains full time (12 hrs. per semester) with a 3.3 cumulative FHSU GPA and remains at FHSU continuously. This program is partially funded by the Paul and Virginia Miller Scholarship Fund.
HAYS CITY Silver Academic Award
This $800 scholarship is available to first time freshmen with a composite score of 24-27 on the ACT. This award is also renewable for three additional undergraduate years provide the student remains full time (12 hrs. per semester) with 3.3 cumulative FHSU GPA and remains at FHSU continuously. This program is partially funded by the City of Hays.
BRONZE Academic Award
This one-time award of $700 requires a composite score of 22-23 on the ACT. Recipients must be first time freshmen.
COPPER Academic Award
This one-time award of $500 requires a composite score of 21 on the ACT. Recipients must be first time freshmen.
