HOMECOMING ACTIVITIES
2010-11
Game – Friday, Sept. 24
Dance – Saturday, Sept. 25 – 8:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m., High School Cafeteria
Theme – “Paint the Town Red”
Colors – Red and White
Dance Entertainment – Complete Music
Wednesday, Sept. 8 - Homecoming Candidate Sign-up Sheets available in the office. Deadline for sign-up will be Tuesday, Sept. 14.
Wednesday, Sept. 15 – Deadline for Little People pictures to be in the office. Little People must be at least five years old.
Friday, Sept. 17 – Homecoming Candidate Balloting if necessary to have four candidates.
Monday, Sept. 20 – Candidate Pictures, 8:15 a.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 21 – Out of town date sign-up deadline and Candidate sheets due to Mr. Neely
Thursday, Sept. 23 – Royalty balloting during first hour. Meeting of all candidates and Little People following lunch.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 24 -- Homecoming Day
12:40 p.m. – Students will leave fifth hour by an intercom announcement to decorate floats under sponsor supervision.
12:40 p.m. to 2:35 p.m. – Decorating of floats
2:45 p.m. – Parade participants form on the west side of the High School
3:15 p.m. – Cheerleaders and Band lead activities at the Circle K intersection. Football Coach speaks
6:10 p.m. – All candidates, vehicles, little people should be at the west entrance of the football field.
6:40 p.m. – King and Queen announced. The King and Queen must sit in the designated area through the end of the half-time. Exceptions must be approved by Mr. Neely prior to that night.
7:00 p.m. – Homecoming Game
SATURDAY, SEPT. 25
Decoration Time – TBD
Dance – 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (No one admitted after 8:30 p.m.)
SUNDAY, SEPT. 26
Clean-up – TBD (All Stuco members)
