Boil Water Advisory for Offerle
Boil Water Advisory Issued for City of Offerle, Edwards Co.
A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for Offerle, KS. This information was received about 2:15 pm on Thursday, March 21. According to Gerald Kratochvil, Communications Director from the KS Department of Health and Environment, the reason for the Boil Water Adivsory is that there was a water line break in the town of Offerle. Whenever this happens, it causes a decrease in water pressure which increases the potential for bacterial growth.
Elementary students are encouraged to bring filled water bottles from home. Coolers of ice water from Kinsley will also be taken to Offerle so that the students will have fresh water to drink.
